Springtime Book-signing!

It’s been a harsh winter with sustained, record-breaking cold in Fairbanks, but Breakup is in progress at last, bringing longer days and melting snow. Oh, joy!

What better time than to get out and about to the Great Alaskan Bowl Company for a book-signing and shopping? I’d love to meet you there. This popular gift shop at 4330 Old Airport Road is packed with their unique, hand-turned birch bowls along with many other “Made in Alaska” items, including some great books by Alaskan authors. It’s one of those places that’s for lingering as you shop. So much to see.

On Tuesday, April 14, I’ll be signing my books from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Emily and crew have promised to stock copies of The Queen of Fairbanks, The Itchy Little Musk Ox, and Alaska Native Games & How to Play Them, and others you’ll love.

Would you help spread word to your book-loving friends? And please stop by. I’d love to meet you and personalize your copy! (It’s okay to bring in one of your own that’s unsigned. I can take care of that, too!)

And listen, if you can’t make it on Tuesday, the shop can always order online and they’ll ship your books. Click here on woodbowl.com and enter the book title in their search bar. I’ll be signing any stock that’s left over after my signing, so if you order soon, you may receive a signed copy. Warm thanks and happy reading!
